Miscellaneous

NewsTurbo allows you to set a bunch of other settings that helps you to make your life easier. Some of the most important features and options are listed below:

Flexible Data Location:
NewsTurbo allows you to specify where your application settings and/or database should be stored. For example, if you want to have your application settings on a network share because you want to run it as a multi-user solution, you can easily do so. Is this possible with your current solution? No? But it should be!

Disposable Email Address Checker
NewsTurbo has an integrated disposable email address checker that allows you to check specific email addresses and/or specific domain names quick and easy to learn if that is an address from a known disposable email address provider.

Minimize to Tray
If you want you can minimize NewsTurbo into your system tray so it is running in the background and always available from the system tray. Sometimes it's the little things that make a difference.

Flexible Field Names
NewsTurbo easily allows you to change the field names that are used for describing subscriber information such as First Name, Last Name etc. so that they perfectly fit your specific needs.

Proxy Server
You can specify if NewsTurbo should use a Socks5, Socks4, or HTTP proxy server to access the internet and to send your newsletters by using a proxy server.

Backup and Recovery
To avoid data loss, NewsTurbo has a backup and recovery feature included that makes it very easy for you to regularly backup your subscribers, history etc.

Database
NewsTurbo gives you the choice what database should be used for storing your data. You can either use Microsoft SQL Server Compact that actually stores your data in a single database file or a full featured Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 or 2008 R2, either the express edition or any other edition.
